No. Cutting, splicing, effects, and exporting all run in your browser via WebAssembly — the audio never leaves your device. Only the optional AI features (voice isolation, stem separation, transcription) send your rendered edit to secure servers, where files are deleted automatically after processing.
What can I do on the timeline?
Split and rearrange clips by dragging, delete or lift ranges to silence, trim clip edges, remove silences automatically, drop markers, set fades, change speed with pitch preserved, and apply EQ, compression, and loudness normalization — all with full undo.
What formats can I export?
MP3, WAV, FLAC, M4A, and OGG, with quality presets for the lossy formats. Files up to 512MB can be edited in-browser.
What do the AI features cost?
AI features use audio credits: transcription is 1 credit per minute, voice isolation 2, and stem separation 3. A free account includes monthly credits — trimming your track first means fewer minutes billed.
Can I record directly in the editor?
Yes — record from your microphone straight onto the timeline, then edit the take like any other clip. Recordings stay on your device unless you run an AI feature on them.
