How much bass does it add?
The preset is a +6dB low shelf at 100Hz — enough to be clearly felt without turning the mix to mud. It boosts kick drums and basslines while leaving vocals and cymbals untouched.
Will boosting bass make my audio clip or distort?
It can if the track is already near full scale — that's what the normalize option is for. Turn on "Normalize to −14 LUFS" and the export is loudness-managed with a true-peak limiter, so the boosted low end lands clean on every speaker.
Can I boost the bass of just one section?
The EQ applies to the whole timeline, but you can select just the drop, export it boosted, and splice it back — or use per-clip gain to lift specific clips by up to ±6dB.
Is anything uploaded?
No. The EQ, preview, and export run entirely in your browser via WebAssembly. Your music never leaves your device.
